Procter & Gamble and SVI Combine to Unleash Leaders

ERLANGER, Kentucky -- On October 20th and 21st, SVI was in Erlanger, Kentucky near Cincinnati taking part in Procter and Gamble’s College III training event. College III is an internal training experience for senior account executives. P&G gathers a portion of its leaders every quarter to help them reconnect with their drive and passion and align them with the mission of Procter and Gamble.

SVI led the first two days of the 4 day event. Subject matter for the first two days was around what type of leader survives and thrives in today’s marketplace and economy. SVI’s CEO, Mike Thompson, challenged the participants to move beyond common leadership to become an Organizational Champion.

An Organizational Champion is a leader who is an enlightened change maker who is personally committed to mutual values and relentlessly driven by possibilities™. In other words, she is a person who knows herself, her organization, and the people she works with in such a way that she finds ways that not only move her career in a positive direction, but her whole organization. She dreams the big dreams and has the wherewithal to make those dreams reality.

The first day of the event was focused on connecting Organizational Champions content with what had gone before and show the participants how that content was the next step in their development process. The second day focused primarily on transforming P&G’s leaders into enlightened leaders; leaders who truly understand what it is that makes them tick. Understanding that impacts every part of their life, not the least of which is their career.

The focus for the College III participants has now shifted to helping them realize their influence and impact on the business. In the coming days, SVI will launch a network assessment designed to help them track areas of strength and weakness and how they improve over time.

This event marks the beginning of an ongoing relationship between Procter & Gamble and SVI to provide top quality development experiences that will profit both the participants and P&G.
