About Mike
Mike is the founder and CEO of SVI, a leading organizational development company. SVI serves clients such as Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, JB Hunt, Dillard’s, VF Corporation and Mars. He is also the author of The Organizational Champion, a lead book being released in May 2009, by McGraw-Hill. He has a strong history of founding and leading successful businesses as he was also the founder and president of a global marketing firm, ThompsonMurray, now called Saatchi & Saatchi X. In five years Mike helped lead ThompsonMurray from start-up to a multi-million dollar firm. He also served six years in active duty and reserve duty for the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard as a life support and survival instructor. Mike holds a B.S. in marketing from the University of Arkansas' Walton College of Business and an M.S. in Leadership & Ethics from John Brown University, where he currently serves as an adjunct professor. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Retailing Excellence at the Walton College of Business and has received the Arkansas Business 40 under 40 award.
